Philosophy and style of working:

Bridget has an Integrative training and uses concepts from psychodynamic, attachment and transpersonal theories of self, Transactional Analysis (TA), and the latest research on the brain. She has a relational style and a strong belief in the healing capacity of the relationship in therapy and in the potential for emotional, physical and spiritual health in everyone. She has particular expertise in issues of loss, identity and exploring the relationship patterns we all carry from the past into the present and how these impact our experiences of ourselves and others. Bridget’s background in the arts, her passion for psychotherapy and her willingness to extend her professional training keeps her practice fresh. Bridget is always happy to discuss her style of working and ways in which she may be able to think with you about your specific needs. She offers a professional and confidential space in which you can think, feel and be curious.
