Integrative Counselling

Philosophy and style of working:

Whether you’re navigating a life transition, managing stress or anxiety, feeling stuck or overwhelmed, or facing challenges in your relationship, I’ll provide you with a safe, supportive space to explore what’s going on.

Everyone’s journey is different, which is why I adapt my approach to meet you where you are. As an integrative counsellor, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to tailor our work together to suit your needs, goals, and the ways you naturally learn and grow.

My integrative approach blends techniques from several counselling models, including:

  • Person-Centred Therapy – creating a safe, accepting space where you feel heard and understood
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – helping you explore and shift unhelpful thought patterns
  • Transactional Analysis (TA)– looking at how past experiences shape your interactions and self-view
  • Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) – using language and behaviour patterns to support change

I also offer creative approaches in our sessions if it feels right for you. Sometimes, working creatively allows deeper insights to emerge. This could include doodling, using imagery or natural objects to tell your story, or exploring your inner world with nesting dolls or Playdoh. If this sparks your curiosity, let me know during our initial call—we can explore whether it feels like a good fit for you.

Some of the issues I work with include (but are not limited to):
Anxiety, panic attacks, depression, anger, grief, loss, separation or divorce, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, OCD, stress, chronic pain, social anxiety, phobias, loneliness, co-dependency, menopause, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, bullying, Trauma, and life transitions such as redundancy or empty-nest.

Whenever you feel ready, I’m here to listen and help you move forward in a way that feels right for you.
