Philosophy and style of working:
Formally speaking my approach would be described as existential, integrative and person centred. In practice that means that my focus is on my client and their unique life experience, while also being aware of the struggles that are common to us all. I don’t have all the answers, but work in partnership with my client to find them, using ideas and techniques from anywhere that’s useful, including Transactional Analysis, Mindfulness Meditation and Gestalt Therapy.

Training and Experience:
I gained my counselling diploma in 2003 and have been in practice for most of the time since then. As well as teaching briefly at level 3, I have, in those years, trained in the use of Transactional Analysis (TA), Family Constellations, Couples Counselling, Addiction and Positive Change, Gender and Workplace Issues, Assertiveness, Conflict Management and the use of Mindfulness Mediation in counselling.
