Philosophy and style of working:
My philosophy is centred around the belief that every person is unique and already holds strengths, abilities and resources within themselves. My role is not to tell people how to live their lives, but to create a safe, confidential, respectful and non-judgemental space where they can openly explore what matters to them, recognise their strengths and find their own way forward.
My working style is person-centred, compassionate and collaborative, drawing on health and wellbeing coaching, motivational interviewing, CBT-informed approaches and mind-body awareness. I believe that trust is fundamental to a positive working relationship, and I treat everything shared within sessions with confidentiality, sensitivity and respect, within appropriate professional and safeguarding boundaries.
I believe meaningful and sustainable change often comes through small, realistic steps, taken at the individual’s own pace. Above all, I aim to help people feel heard, understood and empowered.
The client remains at the centre of the process — their goals, their choices, their journey.

“These sessions have become the highlight of my week. I always leave feeling lighter, more positive and ready to take the next step.”
“You changed my life. I see myself and my situation differently now, and for the first time in a long time, I believe that things really can change.”
“Before our sessions, I felt completely stuck and didn’t know which direction to take. Now I understand what I want and, more importantly, I know what steps I need to take to move forward.”
“I never felt judged or pressured. I felt safe enough to talk honestly about things I normally find very difficult to discuss.”
“You helped me recognise strengths in myself that I had completely forgotten were there. My confidence has grown so much.”
“What made the biggest difference was that you didn’t tell me what I should do. You helped me work it out for myself, and that made the changes feel like they were truly mine.”
“I came to the sessions feeling overwhelmed and unable to see a way forward. Little by little, things started to feel manageable again.”
“Thank you for believing in me when I wasn’t able to believe in myself. I will always remember the difference your support made during a very difficult period of my life.”
