At Bramham Therapy, we aim to provide a professional, respectful and welcoming environment for everyone using our services.

We take complaints and concerns seriously and welcome the opportunity to address them. If something has gone wrong, we encourage you to let us know so that we can consider your concerns and, where appropriate, put things right.

  1. Complaints about an individual therapist

Therapists working from Bramham Therapy operate independently and are responsible for their own clinical practice, professional conduct and relationship with their clients. Each therapist is responsible for maintaining their own professional registration and following their professional body’s ethical framework.

If your complaint concerns your therapy, your therapist’s professional conduct, the therapeutic relationship or the clinical service you have received, you should normally raise it directly with your therapist in the first instance.

If you are unable to resolve the matter with your therapist, or you do not feel comfortable raising it with them, you may contact their relevant professional body which is listed on your therapist’s webpage listing on our website.

You may contact Bramham Therapy for guidance on the above process, and also raise your concerns in writing directly with the proprietor of Bramham Therapy, Wendy Bramham at info@bramhamtherapy.co.uk. Bramham Therapy does not replace the complaints and professional conduct processes of the therapist’s registering body.

  1. Complaints about Bramham Therapy

If your complaint concerns the management or operation of Bramham Therapy, including the facilities, administration or other matters for which the practice is responsible, please contact Wendy Bramham in writing at info@bramhamtherapy.co.uk

Please provide as much detail as you can about your concern and, where possible, what you would like to happen to resolve it.

We will acknowledge your complaint, consider the issues raised and make reasonable enquiries into matters within our responsibility. We will explain our findings and any appropriate action we propose to take.

  1. Confidentiality

Complaints will be handled sensitively and information will be shared only where appropriate and necessary to consider the concern, subject to applicable legal and professional obligations.

We will respect the confidentiality of clients and therapists and may be limited in the information we can share about another person’s circumstances or any action taken.

We will keep a record of complaints received by the practice and their outcomes, in accordance with our data protection and record-keeping responsibilities.
