Heidi works with most mental health presentations but has a particular interest in Compassion Focused Therapy working with core low self-esteem and people who experience high levels of self-criticism and shame.
Philosophy and style of working:
With mental health issues and general life stress becoming more prevalent, a non-judgemental, compassionate approach can do more than make someone feel better – it can help turn people’s lives around. Heidi is an integrative therapist who endeavours to meet the unique needs of each client. Having worked in mental health for 13 years, 11 of those within the NHS, she has experience of working holistically and therapeutically with most mental health issues.
As an experienced Qualified Mental Health Practitioner Heidi has worked in primary, secondary and tertiary services. Client groups have included people experiencing severe and enduring mental health issues such as depression, eating disorders, complex trauma and psychosis, and also working with healthcare professionals experiencing work related stress.

Training and Experience:
Social work is Heidi’s core profession, but she has gone on to complete a Post Graduate Cert in High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and currently work for the NHS as a Psychological Therapist.
