Cassandra uses the psychodynamic approach of counselling, illuminating how earlier experiences may have shaped and affected the way we approach life and relationships, thus helping us to understand ourselves better and find a way forward towards leading a more fulfilled life.

Training and Experience:
Cassandra Human has extensive experience counselling people of all ages, including adolescents, both in the NHS and privately. In addition to working in private practice, she has also worked for Berkshire West NHS, Place2Be, No 5 Youth Counselling in Reading, and the Berkshire Counselling Centre in Wokingham. She offers both short and long-term counselling, to both adults and children from the age of 11. Cassandra trained and qualified at the University of Reading, a rigorous BACP accredited training, and is bound by the BACP code of Ethics and Practice. She also did a year’s further study and training at the Tavistock Centre in London, working with young people there.
