Philosophy and style of working:
Emma became interested in body work about thirty years ago when she needed treatment herself. Her interest grew as she discovered the range and extent of symptoms that could be helped through treatment and as she began to understand the link between the physical body, the mind and the spirit.
Emma has a busy practice in Wiltshire, seeing individual clients and teaching Qi Gong. She also works part time for Julia’s House offering treatments to children with terminal or life limiting conditions and their families.
Emma’s work is her vocation, and although it has taken her through some difficult and challenging times the rewarding times are far more important to her.

Training and Experience:
Emma trained first in Swedish Massage, then aromatherapy. She set up practice with these skills, but felt there was still something missing. Then she discovered Shiatsu, and the manner in which it forms a natural link between our physical, mental and spiritual health. This holistic approach now infuses all Emma’s work with all her clients.
Emma has done CPD courses in many subjects over the years that have helped her improve the work she does – these have included other forms of body work, counselling skills, working with people with cancer and personal development courses.
