A lot changed in the regulation landscape for counsellors and psychotherapists in 2018. The BACP published an updated ethical framework with changes around confidentiality and professional wills. Plus, new general data protection regulations (GDPR) came into force clarifying good practice for record-keeping and client privacy.
We’ll take an overview of these developments and how they might affect our own private practices, with time for discussion and sign-posting to sources of further information and training.
Get up-to-date on:
- limits of confidentiality
- professional wills
- privacy statements
- current debates around therapist regulation
- …and more
